The Beginning

Well I guess that I should start at the beginning and work forward from there. This all started for Patty and I back in Oct/Nov 2008. We talked and started looking for a parcel of land that would suit our needs and what we were looking for. We both had a similar dream, land, rustic an most of all a getaway from everyday life. Our future plans include living up there full time when we are able too, in a modest home with basic amenities.
We looked and many properties and when we first walked this one on a beautiful day in Nov 2008, we knew we had found "our" spot. The property is 10 acres, with a pond in the back of it, year round road access, a trailer on site and lots of place to grow.

We put in an offer and on Dec 12th the deal closed. Patty and I were so excited that we packed up the van, went to the lawyers and after the deal closed we headed to the property for the weekend.

 We spent a few weekends in the trailer over the winter, really just to enjoy the place, some where to get away :)
